LPAC 2018/2019 Season Announced: Subscriptions on Sale Today
Subscription Ticket Packages Available for Purchase Beginning July 19
Lancaster, CA. July 17, 2018 – The premier venue for world-class entertainment in the Antelope Valley, the Lancaster Performing Arts Center (LPAC) will continue its long-standing tradition of offering an outstanding lineup of song, dance, comedy, and family entertainment during its upcoming 27th season. On July 19, LPAC will open subscription ticket sales (Pick 6 and Pick 10 packages) for the 2018/2019 Season.
The season’s opening show on September 8 will feature Saturday Night Live and motion picture star David Spade, performing his hilarious, trademark brand of stand-up comedy. A number of other headliners will also take center stage this year, including: country stars Travis Tritt and LeAnn Rimes; renowned jazz saxophonist Kenny G; legendary rock band Starship, featuring Mickey Thomas and Dennis DeYoung of Styx; the eclectic Postmodern Jukebox; and the always invigorating Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. The season will conclude June 1, 2019 with Kenny Cetera’s Chicago Experience.
Purchasing subscription ticket packages is the perfect way for patrons to ensure they receive the best seats available for the shows they most want to see. The Pick 6 package requires a minimum purchase of six different shows, while the Pick 10 package requires a purchase of ten or more shows. A savings of up to 15% is included with these subscription purchases.
“Each season, more and more shows sell out, some very quickly,” said Mike Rosa, Senior Operations Manager for LPAC. “By offering these subscription packages before single show purchases are made available, patrons are able to reserve prime seats for the shows they do not want to miss, all while saving money.”
As part of the 2018/2019 season, LPAC is debuting Viva LPAC, a new series featuring Hispanic artists. The series is headlined by Los Ángeles Azules, with La Santa Cecila and Mariachi Sol de Mexico rounding out the trio of performances.
Additionally, this season is especially appealing to families, with a number of shows everyone can enjoy. Family picks include: the Amazing Bubble Man; Disney’s Frozen Sing-A-Long; Derik Nelson and Family; and The Missoula Children’s Theatre, performing The Frog Prince. Many of the shows this season are priced at $10 or less for youth 18 and under.
