We’re Still Here Panel Discussion
The Lancaster Museum of Art History (MOAH) is dedicated to strengthening awareness, enhancing accessibility, and igniting an appreciation of art, history, and culture in the Antelope Valley. With the help of its newly formed Native American Advisory Council, MOAH seeks to raise the community’s awareness of the indigenous contributions in our community, California, and the world. Along with this commitment, MOAH aims to uplift the voices of individuals from other marginalized communities through inclusive collecting practices, open-minded public engagement, and socially aware exhibitions.
With these ideas in mind, MOAH has developed a series of discussions centered around complex topics and themes relevant to current socio-cultural events reflected in the arts. The We’re Still Here panel discussion series provides a forum for the community as a whole by facilitating conversations that strengthen the link between identity, the arts, and the public.
